Kaden walked onto the set of Just Hear Me with his cup of coffee in one hand and his script in the other. It was just another day on set, doing a run through with the rest of the cast. Since it was one of those days, he dressed down in a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt. He hated wearing anything that dressed him up because it was uncomfortable and stuffy in his opinion. Whereas his character, Dan Zieglar, loved to be dressed up and strut his stuff as the cockiest man alive.
It was a sunny day in California, so Kaden was ready to just get this read through over and done with so he could go play soccer on the beach with a couple of the guys. He loved acting, but some days he just wanted to be an athlete and play the game. His two greatest passions sometimes pitted against each other, so he had to compromise. Acting first, then soccer.
Seeing that he was the first one there, he sat his stuff down on the table and pulled out his phone as he sat down. He texted his pal that was setting up the game, Got a read through. Will be there in an hour or so. He shut his phone and waited for everyone to start showing up.

Ashlyn stepped onto the set. She was not looking her best. She had a major freakout at her suite last night, and ended up spending majority of the night napping on a chair in the lounge, as no one was answering their phones. Entering the set, she saw Kaden was the only one who had arrived yet, and her stomach fluttered a little. She knew she looked like a train wreck, so she pulled her hat down further, shadowing her eyes and she took an open seat on his side.
Ashyln set her script down on the table, put her elbows on the table after, and her face in her hands. She let out a soft moan, feeling the effects of her lousy night. Turning toward Kaden a little, she finally addressed him, trying to keep her cool. "Hey, Kaden."

Kaden sat in his chair, just chilling and waiting for the rest of the cast to arrive when a girl walked through the door. He immediately knew it was Ashlyn by her hat and walk. Spending so much time on set, he had gotten to know pretty much everyone and knew them pretty well. Ashlyn was one of the more shy girls he had noticed, but sweet all the same. At least, in every experience he had talking with her. "Good morning Ashlyn," he said, nodding his head in her direction. "I trust you're having a good morning?" Kaden liked to keep his conversations casual at work without too much drama. That was just part of who he was. Drama was not something he wanted in his life.

Ashlyn moved her face back forward, and moaned into a sentence in reply for Kaden. "Ohh, do you really want to know?" She picked her head up and leaned back in her chair. "I live at the Hollywood freaking Hotel, and my couch nearly flipped itself over last night. So I stayed downstairs in the lobby with a few insomniacs and the manager all night long, sitting straight up in a chair, and got about three and a half minutes of sleep." She rubbed her face. "Sorry... You don't really need to know my problems..." She was sure she'd bore him anyway.
Ashlyn had been crushing on Kaden since the day they met, but she came to know that nothing would ever come of it if she didn't say anything to him about it. And that was just the problem; Ashlyn had never been the type of girl to ask a guy out. She was very traditional in that aspect, which made working with Kaden so much harder. But it was something she'd learned to deal with.

Kaden listened to Ashlyn talk about her night with compassion. For once, he was glad he lived in the Hills instead of the Hotel like most actors his age did. Nodding, he said in a low tone so not to give her any more of a headache than she already had, "Sounds like you had a pretty rough night, huh? I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep, but maybe tonight will go better for you." He twiddled his thumbs on the table as he sat there awkwardly with just Ashlyn. Kaden was never one for being alone with a girl he was not dating, so being with Ashlyn was pushing his limits of comfort, but he was dealing with it until someone else showed up...which he hoped would be soon.

Jasper had stopped by the cafe to get her hot tea, her throat had been hurting her for the past few days and tea had been soothing to it. She parked her car in her parking spot and walked into the studio with a skip in her step. JAsper saw Kaden and Ashlyn at the table already talking. She skipped up to them and took her sunglasses off. "Hey guys!" She chirped and smiled at both of them, She pulled the chair out next to Kaden and sat next to him. She then looked at Ashlyn , Jasper could tell something was up. "You okay dollface?" She asked her in her caring southern accent.

Before Ashlyn could say anything back to Kaden, he watched as Jasper came sauntering into the room. She was always one to brighten up a room and Kaden had been enamored with her since the first time he saw her on set. Jasper was beautiful and witty, two things Kaden admired. She also was very driven. "Good morning Jasper," he greeted her. "Ashlyn had kind of a rough night and she was just telling me about it."

"She might have had a rough night but the show must go on," Karin said walking into the room running her fingers through her blonde hair. She had a late night out drinking in the hotel restaurant and she had seen Ashlyn in the lobby. "I sleep well but I always have these crazy dreams, I have never had before moving in to the hotel but I never drank before moving to Hollywood." Karin pulled a chair out from the table and crossed her legs, adjusted her dress before looking down at her shoes. "It might be strange but I keep dreaming about seeing old Hollywood actors and actresses wondering around the hotel." Karin then looked up at everyone in the room and smiled. "crazy dreams huh?"

Brooke was late. As usual. She carried the script that they would be going through under her arm, with a coffee to go in one hand and her bag on the arm of the other. Her hair was up in a quick, but messy, pony tail. She entered the studio with a big yawn and took a sip of her coffee. "Am I late?" She asked as she neared the group that had already formed. She pulled out the nearest chair and placed it next to Karin's, sitting on it soon after. She placed her belongings on the floor next to her and rubbed her eyes with both hands, trying to wake herself up.

Kaden laughed as both Karin and Brooke came bounding in, rambling on about their own things and worrying about being late. Looking at Brooke, he smiled and said, "You aren't late, I'm just always early. That was the funny thing about Kaden; he was always on time, even for a guy. But, his parents always taught him being early was better than late, so he stuck by that rule for most of his life. He set his coffee back on the table next to his script and sat back, remaining mostly quiet because he was the only guy there thus far and he felt outnumbered. The one thing keeping him grounded was the fact that Jasper was sitting right next to him, otherwise he would have moved himself to the other side of the room faster than you could say "Twenty-two skido". He liked girls, but not that many surrounding him at once.

Ashlyn groaned in her seat. "I need to move out. I swear to God I'm on my last nerve being there. I jump when someone rounds a corner." She took her hat off, letting her hair fall down her back. Maybe she'd go home for the weekend. Seeing her parents would be hell, but it'd be worth it to get out of the Limbo that she called her home.
On second thought, maybe she'd just get married. Then she could have her man distract her. That was always helpful. The problem was the only person she had a chance with would never like her the way she liked him. She'd get a dog, but she figured the dog would be more afraid of the entities in the hotel than she was.
(Is crap. Sowee)

Gavin shut his car door, looking at his watch. It was pretty early in the morning, so he figured no one would be at the studio. They'd just bought a couple new sound boards and Gavin, being the geek that he is, was eager to test them out. They were top of the line and had great reviews, and he wanted to master those, like all the old ones, too.
He walked into the studio, surprised to find the cast in there. "Crap. I forgot. It's a read through day. I'll just be on my way, then" he said, knowing that on the other shows he worked on, the cast pretty much hated the crew. Ever since them, Gavin had tried to distance himself, spending more and more time with the sound guys and other members of the crew, that he never really got the chance to meet the cast on this show. However, Gavin didn't know if he wanted to take the chance. "Have a good show," he said, turning towards the door.

Jasper listened to Ashlyn say how she needed to move out of her hotel room. "You know Ash, I'm looking for a roommate. If you want to think about it, I sure would love to have you." She said smiling at her, hoping that this might cheer her up a bit. Jasper then looked over at Kaden and smiled, just being around him made her blush. Jasper then looked back at Ashlyn, "I'm really quite, I can make a mess but I have someone come clean once a week." She said trying to gert Ashlyn to think about moving in.
Ever since Jasper had moved to LA and into the house in the hills she had been lonely. She had thought about getting a little french bulldog but right she was just too busy with work and making it that she didn't have time for a dog. That was also why she didn't have time for boys either. With that in mind Jasper tried hard to not look at Kaden, she pulled her script out and started to thumb through it.

"No one is late we still have like another twenty minutes or so"Karin said as Brook entered the room before pulling a chair up next to her. She began to wonder were all the boys were at. She looked a Kaden and felt bad for him because he was out numbered. She remembered how her brother hated being surrounded by girls.
"So what scene are we doing first today? " Karin asked pulling her script out of her bag and flipping thought the pages stopping on a she had marked the day before. " I have not really read much of it since yesterday morning, I just hope we start getting to the good stuff soon I am getting tired of playing the loner, I cant wait till your characters stat calling on Carrie from help, that will be fun.Karin smiled at at Kaden, before picking a bottle of water of the table and taking a drink.
Looking toward the door as she continued to drink her water she saw Gaven enter the room, the poor guy got his days confused Karin found that cute. Just as he turned to leave Karin spoke up. "Gaven..that's your name right how about you come keep us coumpany while we wait for the other to show up? Karin was really the wanted coumpany seeing how Kaden was the only guy in the room and he was keeping most of the others attention. "Maybe you can help us..Me practice my lines."

Kaden noticed that Jasper was trying not to look in his direction and he wondered why, but was otherwise distracted by some more people walking in. Gavin, one of the crew guys, came in and began to back himself out. "Hey Gaven, what's up man? he called as everyone began fingering through their scripts. "There's a couple guys having a soccer game down on the beach later, so you should come check it out!" More than anything, he just wanted to get out of there to go spend some time on the beach in the beautiful weather. Being cooped up was not something Kaden did well.
