Kaden laughed. "Alright, I'll show you around, but I will leave the shoppin' to you," he joked. He nodded his head in the direction down the street, smiling. "Ladies first," he said politely. Since Kaden had moved to California when he was younger, he had adjusted well to the life most people there lived. He also noticed that girls tended to appreciate his southern sense of dignity and propriety, including his manners. However, he knew that he could never act any other way.

Keep you friends close, but keep your enemies closer..... Holly smiled and began walking down the street in the direction he'd pointed to. She was going to have fun, she could tell. It wasn't hard to have fun in L.A. apparently. Her sister did more of the "fun" but it was a different kind of fun. Shopping would have to be Holly's new forte, since there were no farms or barns around. Holly's style would have to change too. It was freightening, but it excited her at the same time.
As they walked, Holly said, "So Kaden, tell me about yourself. What's your story, besides coming to L.A. to be an actor?" Every actor has their story. That's why E! True Hollywood Story was created. Ah, the geniuses behind E!

As Kaden began to walk down Rodeo Drive with Holly, he heard her ask about himself. Normally, Kaden hated talking about himself since reporters asked him all the personal questions he didn't want to really answer to the public, but he could make an exception every once in a while and Holly seemed like a genuine person. "Well, for the most part I grew up in Texas until I was twelve, when my family moved out here to let me act. I've been playing soccer since I was old enough to walk, so if the acting thing doesn't work out...I'm thinking pro-soccer may be the way to go for me." He laughed and kept on walking. "How about yourself? What do you do for fun?"

Keep you friends close, but keep your enemies closer..... "Define fun." Holly said. "Back in Alabama, I used to go to the farms and hang out in the field. It's cliche, I know, but that's what I did. We had barn dances and stuff. Our senior prom was actually in my friend Morgan's barn!" She laughed as she walked. "It was a fun night though." She stopped talking for a moment and went on. "But, yeah. I guess shopping is my new definatition of fun because there are no farms around here." She smiled brightly, looking forward.

Kaden laughed as Holly described her country roots. It made him miss Texas a little, but he knew that he would visit there soon enough when he went to see his dad's family at Christmas. As they walked, he nodded and smiled at her. "I only got to stay in Texas for a little while, but my family lived near a ranch that was owned by some family friends, so my sister and I got to ride their horses all the time when we were kids, so I kinda understand missing the country life," he said. "There aren't many horses out here, so I just make due with surfing. Not quite the same thing, but at least it gets me outside and doing something."

Keep you friends close, but keep your enemies closer..... Holly nodded as he talked, interested. "I've always wanted to learn how to surf." She paused. "My sister does too. My dad said he would pay for the lessons as long as we continue to help pay rent on the room." L.A. was definately different from Alabama. Holly knew she would like it here. There was so much more to do, but in retrospect, it was different kinda of different things.
