detailed, Kayla Jeannette Anstett was born on November 23rd, 1992 to Brandon and Melanie Anstett in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the youngest of two children. Her older brother is Kyle. Her family relocated to Los Angeles soon after because of her mother's book writting career. The family wanted to be closer to the publisher.
As a child, Kayla was energetic and fun loving. She was liked by many kids and became part of the popular crowd instantly. She partied way too much in her junior high and early high school years and that was what caused her trouble. She got picked up by the police once, but they let her off with a warning. The biggest change of her life, though, was the night she got drunk and she woke up in someone else's bed. Nine months later she gave birth at age fifteen to her daughter, Karlie Jean Anstett. Her parents did not know about her pregnancy until she had already given birth. They kicked her out of the house and disowned her.
Now, Kayla lives downtown in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Hills Hotel with rent help from her brother. She raises her daughter and goes out on auditions any chance she can to try and make money to support her daughter and start paying her brother back. She wants so badly to give her daughter everything, but doesn't know how she'll do it without the help of her family.
