There's always gonna be another mountain.....
Kayla's cousin, Whitney, stopped by her room at the hotel to watch Karlie so Kayla could have a little break. It was rare that this happened. Usually Whitney watched her second cousin while Kayla went out on an audition. Those usually didn't last long, either, so Kayla jumped right back into motherhood. She was so young, but acted so mature. It was so odd for a sixteen year old.
At the coffee shop, Kayla ordered a decafe latte and went to a corner booth to relax herself. She wasn't sure what to do without her daughter in sight. She knew Whitney meant well, but Karlie was Kayla's security blanket. She felt lost just sipping on her latte and watching people inside and out of the cafe.
