It had been a few hours since Jasper had gotten home from the cafe where she saw Kaden and talked for a bit. Since then she had gone to the drug store and picked up a few cold medicine, cough drops and tea for her house to help her feel better. However all Jasper could think about since her cafe run in was Kaden, he was such a gentleman, and they way he stumbled over his words when talking to Jasper made her heart melt. Jasper knew that she shouldn't get involved with anyone for the time but it was okay to have a crush, she thought to herself. Once she got home Jasper put in her favorite old sweatpants and sweatshirt that were her older brothers when he was in high school. Jasper hated being sick when she lived all alone. Being the baby in her family everyone always took care of her when she was sick when she was younger and she missed that so much. Once in her sweats Jasper took her comforter and went downstairs to the kitchen and made some more hot tea. As soon as she had her tea and tissues Jasper went into the living room and put in her favorite sick movie, Gone With The Wind and sat down on the couch. However after thirty minutes into the movie Jasper fell asleep.

Kaden left Starry Nights and headed for the beach where his soccer buddies were waiting for him. When he got there, they separated into shirts and skins; Kaden stripped his shirt and left it in his car before joining his team on one side of the beach. A few minutes later, the game commenced and Kaden shot an amazing goal from nearly half-field about ten minutes in. He subconsciously wished that Jasper could have been there to see it, but knew that he could recount the details later when he went to her house. It was almost instantaneous how much he thought of her in those few moments, like there was no one else in the world he would have rather had there to see that goal. But, he knew he would see her in just a few hours and that is what made him happier. That was something he was looking forward to, but he had to push that thought away to focus on the game. An hour later, the game ended in a 2-1 victory for Kaden's team. After the traditional victory lap, Kaden hopped into his car and drove home to get ready to go to Jasper's.
He showered and got redressed in a comfortable Hollister t-shirt and pair of jeans. After getting dressed, he combed his hair and let it fall into it's usual messy swoop. Once he was ready, he left his house and went to the nearby deli to pick up the tomato soup for Jasper. From there he followed her directions until he pulled up in front of her house. For a few moments, he just sat in his car to compose himself so he would not freak out too badly and embarrass himself. After he was composed and cool, he got out of his car and walked up to her door. He rang the doorbell and waited patiently. This is it, he thought to himself. Be cool man, be cool and don't act stupid.

When the doorbell rang Jasper work up a bit, she had been asleep for at least three or four hours. She reached for her cell phone and saw that it was almost seven o'clock. "Shit." She said to herself and she rubbed her eyes to wake herself up a bit. "Coming." She yelled to the door. She knew who it was standing outside that door, it was Kaden and all Jasper could think of was how she looked like shit. She sat up and took her hair out of the messy pony tail it was in and shook it out. She then put it back up, still a messy pony tail but not as messy as it had been a few seconds ago.
Jasper stood up and streched her body out and walk to the door, she was still sleepy. Once Jasper got to the door she looked in the mirror right next to it, she looked awful in her mind. Oh well, this well have to do." she thought to herself before taking a big sigh and opening the door. There standing at the door was Kaden, handsome as ever. "Hey Flash!" She said through a yawn that she was not thinking would come out. Jasper cover her mouth and smiled, still yawning. "Sorry about that, I fell asleep and just got up." She said while scratching her stomach. Dear God, I must seem like a man. She thought to herself. "Come on in." She smiled as she let Kaden into her house.

A smile spread across Kaden's face as the door opened and Jasper stood in the doorway. Even though she was somewhat of a mess, she was still completely adorable to him. Damn, she makes messy look good, he thought to himself, chuckling mentally. He also smiled as she used his nickname, which he was growing used to each time he heard her use it. "You don't look bad at all," he said, walking into the doorway. "You should have seen me about an hour ago...I looked horrible after the game." He laughed, looking around at her house. It was fairly modest for an actress, but Kaden found that to be something admirable. It meant that Jasper was down to earth, which he already knew. "So, I have the tomato soup as promised."

Jasper closed the door and smiled. "Aww thanks." She said as she followed Kaden into her living room. "So this is where I live." She said as she went to the door of her kitchen. "You can just put the soup in here and have a seat. I'll start making some tea and grilled cheese." She said as she walked into her kitchen. She looked down and saw her reflection in the toaster, Ahhh I look like shit right now. she thought to herself. She saw that she had pillow lines still on her face from when she was sleeping. "Hope you don't mind the lines on my face." She said with a nervous laugh.
Jasper walked over to the stove that already had the pan on it, she turned it on. She then reached up to grab the bread and went over to the refridgerator to get the cheese. Jasper then made to grilled cheese and places them both in the pan. "Hope you don't mine I am not much of a cook." She said as she watched everything cook.

Kaden walked inside a little further and into the kitchen, putting the soup on the counter and taking a seat at the bar near the stove where he watched Jasper start cooking. He hadn't noticed the pillow lines on her face until she said something, but he smiled and thought to himself Damn, she is adorable when she's flustered. "I don't mind at all. In fact, they're kinda cute," he said, flashing an innocent smile her direction. He watched as she made the grilled cheese, knowing that he could not even make that for himself. Once upon a time he had attempted to learn how to cook something for himself so he could be somewhat self-sufficient. That worked real well until he almost set the kitchen on fire.
"Well you're bound to be better than me," he laughed. "At least the place is still standing...had it been me, somethin' probably would have been on fire by now." Even if he was laughing, he knew that it was the truth. His dad once told him that women were the cooks in the family for a reason...after that one incident, he belived him.

Jasper listened to Kaden and blushed a bit. The grilled cheese were almost done and she went to grab two plates and two bowls. She walked back over to the stove and placed ever thing on the plates, she then grabbed the soup and poured it into the bowls. She then opened the drawer and pulled out tow spoons and handed one of everything to Kaden. "It's not much but it's something." She said and grabbed her plate and bowl and walked into the living room. "Come on Flash." She called back to Kaden.
Once in the living room Jasper sat everything down on the coffee table and then walked over to the TV and DVD player. "Okay so I am going to ask you if we can watch a movie. It's the movie I always watch when I am sick and I tried to watch it before you got here but fell asleep an hour into it." She said to Kaden, hoping he would be cool with her movie choice. Jasper closed her eyes and held up the movie case. "Gone With The Wind" She said looking to she what Kaden would say.

Kaden watched in amusement as Jasper finished the grilled cheese, seeing the blush on her cheeks and a broader smile spread across his face. When she handed everything to him, he smiled and followed her willingly, especially after she used his nickname again. That was something he could definitely grow used to if he spent more time with her. He went into the living room and set his stuff next to hers as she went over to the TV and DVD player to retrieve the movie she wanted to watch. In all honesty, Kaden would have watched anything so long as he got to watch it with Jasper. When she said it was Gone With The Wind, he chuckled a little and smiled. "I am okay with pretty much anything," he said, taking a seat on the couch. "I have a younger sister, so I've pretty much seen and/or heard of every chick flick known to mankind. Kerri is very into that sort of stuff." It was then that he thanked whatever higher power had thought to give him a little sister instead of a brother.

Once Kaden gave the okay Jasper turned around and pressed play on the DVD player. "Good because even if you said no, we were still going to watch it." She said as she turned around and walked back to the couch and sat down. Jasper leaned forward and picked up her plate and bowl and then leaned back on the couch. she turned and looked at Kaden and then back at the TV. "I have loved this movie since I was a little girl," She giggled and dipped her grilled cheese into her tomato soup. She then grabbed the remote to the DVD played and pressed play once the menu showed up. The into music for the film started to play and Jasper turned to look at Kaden and smiled. "Get ready for 3 hours of pure greatness." She said as she turned to watch the movie.

Hearing her sarcastic reply made Kaden laugh a little more. He always appreciated a girl that could be sarcastic and keep up with him. He watched as she pressed "Play" on the DVD player and came back over to the couch. He grabbed his own plate and started to eat. "I think my sister discovered this one when she was about twelve, so I'm pretty sure I've watched it around six or seven times, which is nothing compared to how many times she's watched it on her own," he chuckled. His sister Kerri had a way of suckering him into watching movies with her when he went home to visit from time to time. Kaden was a sucker for doing anything his sister wanted. "Kerri has this way of getting me to do absolutely anything she wants...I guess that's part of being a big brother though." He flashed one of his best "innocent" smiles to Jasper and averted his gaze to his tomato soup.

Jasper laughed out loud when he said his sister had a way of making him do whatever she asked. "I bet she did." She laughed. All Jasper could think of in her head was Kaden dressed up in girls clothes have a tea party with his sister and her dolls, she giggled a little more. Jasper finished her soup and grilled cheese and put everything back on the coffee table. "That was some of the best I have ever made." She said quite proud of herself. She then leaned back and grabbed the blanket at her feet and wrapped it around her body to keep her warm. She gave Kaden a quick glance and smile before snuggling up more in the blanket and leaning against the arm of the couch to watch the movie.

Jasper's commentary made Kaden's face burn with a slight blush. He hated when that happened because it made him look like an idiot even more. That quickly went away once she changed the subject back to the food she made. "It was really good," he complimented as he finished his own sandwich and soup, placing the plate on the table next to hers. He leaned back and placed his arms over his head to watch the movie, watching her snuggle into her blanket in the process. She is so dang cute he thought again. But I have no idea what I am doing...this is unchartered territory for me. Holy hell, where is Tyler when I need advice on this crap? His thoughts were going ninety to nothing. Normally he would have been cool as a cucumber, but this was the girl for him. Tyler, his best friend, would have known what to do in this situation exactly. "Is this your favorite movie or do you have another that takes first place?" he asked and immediately regretted it. Dumb question stupid...dumb, dumb, dumb...Kaden, pull it together man.

Jaspers head sat up a bit from the question that Kaden asked her. "Oh no my favorite movie is The Big Lebowski. I think the Coen brothers are amazing." She said to him not trying to sound to smart about movies. However when it came to movies Jasper knew pretty much everything about them. She loved watching them growing up and as she got older she tried to learn as much as she could about making them, her dream was to one day open her own production company and make her own. "I would kill to be in one of their movies." She said with a smile. Jasper then looked at Kaden. "However this is my favorite sick movie. There us just something about it that makes me feel a little bit better, ever since I was a little girl." She sighed and put her head back down on the arm of the couch. "What about you? What's your favorite movie?" She asked placing her eyes back on the TV.

Kaden smiled as Jasper explained about her favorite movie and dream of being in one of the Coen Brothers' movies. If Kaden had his way, he would have given her exactly what she wanted in that wish. In the back of his mind, he was thinking of how he could make that a reality for her, but so far...he had nothing. He made a mental note to see what his agent knew that could help. His attention snapped back when she asked him what his favorite movie. "Um...good question..." he stumbled through his words again, trying to think of what his favorite movie was. Say something man...don't be stupid. He finally thought of one. "I would have to say it's one of the Bourne movies. I can't pick which one though because they're all pretty good," he replied, smiling at her. "Movies with that much action have always looked fun to be in." Kaden knew that given the chance, he would definitely love to be in a movie where he was a spy or badass of some sort, but he kept that wish to himself most of the time.
