Thanks to Austin's family, his fear of rejection can sometimes get in the way of things. It's been difficult for him to stand up to his family. Only his sister is loving and caring towards him. The rest of his family uses him. He doesn't like it, but he's so scared to stand up to them, he just lets them walk all over him. He knows he shouldn't let them, but he fears his own life. Acting has always been a big part of Austin's life. He enjoys what he does and is friendly to everyone on set, whether they like him or not. Most people, however, like him because of his constant energy and kind attitude. He loves what he does, so badly, that he doesn't want to put it in jeapordy.

detailed, Austin James LaBarge was born on December 21st, 1987 to Michael and Susan LaBarge in Los Angeles, California. At the time he was the youngest of two--his older sister was Alessandra (who went and still goes by Alice)--but in the next six years, little brother's Adam and Alexander were added to the family.
As a child, Austin watched his father--an alcoholic--and his mother--a drug addict--get into a lot of bad situations. It was basically up to his sister to take care of him and his little brothers. He did not help, for his sister would not let him. He was beaten a lot as a child for no apparent reason, but he never let that bring his self esteem down.
In high school, Austin participated in the drama club activities and was quickly respected amongst his fellow students/actors. He won the leads in most of the school plays--he could've cared less what role he played--and his sister saw his true potential. His parents also saw something too--their future cashing in. Immediately, they got him an agent and got him a small role in an independant film. When the money rolled in from the project, Michael and Susan cashed it for themselves.
Now, five years later, Austin is now a cast member of the hugely popular show Just Hear Me where he has found a home in his castmates. His parents continue to take his money and his little brothers have learned from example. Alice, however--a talent agent--knows how hard Austin works and wishes he would put a stop to it.
